
Ingredients:
4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)
Directions:
I. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
II. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
III. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
IV. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the top of the chicken mixture.
V. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
VI. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
VII. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the crumbled bacon and chopped green onions on top.
VIII. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors and textures in this comforting casserole!
