
Ingredients
4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)
Olive oil and roasted garlic cubes for topping (optional)
Directions
Cook the potatoes: Place potatoes in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain well.
Prepare the mash: In the same pot, add butter and minced garlic, cooking until garlic is fragrant. Add potatoes back into the pot and mash until smooth.
Add milk: Gradually pour in milk, mixing until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Transfer to a serving dish, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish with fresh thyme and roasted garlic cubes if desired.
