Rice Krispie Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:
2 cups peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1/2 cup salted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for smoother chocolate coating)

Directions:
I. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and softened butter until smooth and well combined.
II. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
III. Gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, being careful not to crush the cereal too much.
IV. Using your hands, shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
V. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until fully melted. (If the chocolate is too thick, stir in the vegetable oil to thin it out.)
VI. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork to coat them evenly. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
VII. Refrigerate the chocolate-covered peanut butter balls until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.
VIII. Serve chilled or at room temperature and enjoy!
