Foolproof Chocolate Lava Cake

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate (chopped)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 small ramekins with butter and lightly dust with cocoa powder.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Let cool slightly.
Whisk in the powdered sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
Let the cakes cool for 1 minute, then carefully run a knife around the edges and invert onto serving plates.
Serve immediately with ice cream or whipped cream for that perfect lava effect!
