Chicken Fried Steak with Gravy

Ingredients:
For the Steak:
4 cube steaks
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
½ cup vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Gravy:
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups whole milk
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another dish, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk.
Dredge each cube steak in the seasoned flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the flour mixture again.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
To make the gravy, remove excess oil from the skillet, leaving about 2 tablespoons. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the chicken fried steaks topped with the creamy gravy.
