Creamy Chicken Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients:
8 ounces pasta (penne, fusilli, or your choice)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Broccoli: In the same skillet, add a bit more olive oil if needed. Add the broccoli florets and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are bright green and slightly tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir to combine and let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.

Add the Cheese: Stir in the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth, creating a creamy sauce.

Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken and broccoli to the skillet with the sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss everything together, ensuring the pasta and chicken are well coated with the creamy sauce.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve the creamy chicken broccoli pasta immediately. Enjoy this comforting dish!
