Cheesy Tater Tot Meatloaf Casserole

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion (diced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 bag frozen tater tots (about 32 oz)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
1/2 cup milk
Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the Meatloaf Layer: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until fully combined.
Layer the Meat Mixture: Spread the meatloaf mixture evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish, pressing it down into an even layer.
Add the Cheese: Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the meatloaf mixture.
Prepare the Tater Tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese layer.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk together until smooth. Pour this mixture over the tater tots.
Bake: Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown, and the meat is fully cooked through.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot.
