Lobster & Scallops in Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
For the Lobster & Scallops:
2 lobster tails (5-6 oz each)
½ lb sea scallops (patted dry)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
For the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Directions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or set broiler to high.
Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise.
Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell.
Brush with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or broil for 6-8 minutes, until the meat is opaque and tender.

2️⃣ Sear the Scallops:
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Pat scallops dry and season with salt and black pepper.
Sear for 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan.

3️⃣ Make the Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.

4️⃣ Assemble & Serve:
Place lobster tails and scallops on a plate.
Drizzle generously with the garlic Parmesan cream sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
