Italian Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
4 garlic bread rolls (or large sub rolls)
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the garlic butter mixture onto the inside of the garlic bread rolls or sub rolls. Place them on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors combine.
Spoon the sloppy joe mixture onto the toasted garlic bread rolls. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
