Bacon Mushroom Swiss Cheese Meatloaf

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, diced onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and parsley until fully combined.
Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it into a greased loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
Bake the meatloaf for 45-50 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
While the meatloaf is baking, sauté the mushrooms in a skillet until they are tender, about 5 minutes.
Once the meatloaf is done, remove it from the oven. Sprinkle the Swiss cheese over the top, followed by the sautéed mushrooms and crumbled bacon.
Return the meatloaf to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
