Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Cook the chicken. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 to 6 minutes until browned and cooked through.
Prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes if using.
Combine. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir well to coat evenly. Let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
Serve. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve with rice or your favorite side.
