1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Asiago cheese
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions
Preheat the oven to 200°C or 400°F.
Prepare the Brussels sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Roast the Brussels sprouts: Spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
Add the cheese: During the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle the grated Asiago cheese over the Brussels sprouts and return to the oven to melt.
Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Perfect as a side dish for any meal.
