Cream Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Doritos Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cups crushed Doritos (any flavor)

1 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

Salt and pepper, to taste

Oil for frying (optional if baking)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, chopped bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.

Stuff the Chicken
Slice a pocket into the side of each chicken breast. Fill each pocket with the cream cheese mixture. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.

Bread the Chicken
Season the flour with salt and pepper. Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with crushed Doritos.

Cook the Chicken

Frying Option: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

Baking Option: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until fully cooked and crispy.

Serve
Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
