Loaded Mac and Cheese with Bacon

Ingredients 🛒
2 cups elbow macaroni
4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs (for topping)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions 👩‍🍳
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
2️⃣ Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3️⃣ In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
4️⃣ Gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream, cooking until the sauce thickens.
5️⃣ Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
6️⃣ Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
7️⃣ Top with crumbled bacon and panko breadcrumbs. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
8️⃣ Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!
