
Ingredients:
4 slices sourdough bread
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 slices mozzarella cheese
4 slices cooked bacon
1 avocado, sliced
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Directions:
Prepare the Bread: Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. On the other side of two slices, spread Dijon mustard.
Assemble the Sandwiches: Place one slice of cheddar cheese and one slice of mozzarella cheese on the mustard side of each bread slice. Top with bacon slices and avocado slices. Add another slice of cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top, then cover with the remaining bread slices, mayonnaise side out.
Grill the Sandwiches: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and let it melt. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side. Add more butter to the skillet if needed.
Serve: Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
