Easy Vanilla Cake

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Frost as desired and enjoy!
