
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix together the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme.
Stuff Chicken: Carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast. Stuff each pocket with the broccoli cheese mixture.
Season Chicken: Season the outside of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Cook: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Bake: Transfer the seared chicken to the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the filling is hot and bubbly.
Serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your cheesy, stuffed chicken!
