Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon paprika
8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion is soft and translucent.
Stir in the tomato sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
Once slightly cooled, mix in the softened Philadelphia cream cheese until well combined.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry and place it in a greased pie dish or baking dish.
Spoon the meat and cream cheese mixture into the pastry-lined dish, spreading it evenly.
Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and place it on top of the filling. Pinch the edges to seal and trim any excess pastry.
Brush the top of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
