Ultimate Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Stir well to mix.
Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in another bowl.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
