Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Prep the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Coat the Chicken:
Spread the sour cream over each chicken breast, coating both sides. In a separate shallow dish, mix together the crushed Ritz crackers and shredded cheddar cheese. Press each sour cream-coated chicken breast into the cracker mixture, ensuring it’s fully covered.
Bake the Chicken:
Place the coated chicken breasts in a greased baking dish. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm with your favorite sides.
