Garlic Butter Skillet Steak and Shrimp

Ingredients:
2 (8-10 oz) beef steaks (your choice of cut)
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup beef broth
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Prepare the Steaks: Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the Steaks: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Lower the heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the beef broth and lemon juice to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to thicken slightly.
Stir in the remaining tablespoon of butter until the sauce is smooth. Return the steaks and shrimp to the skillet to coat them in the garlic butter sauce.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the dish with fresh parsley and serve immediately, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the steaks and shrimp.
