
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 package (32 oz) frozen Tater Tots
1/4 cup chopped pickles (optional, for garnish)
Ketchup and mustard, for serving (optional)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
Stir in salt, pepper, cheddar cheese soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Cook and stir until well combined and heated through.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
Arrange the frozen Tater Tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the Tater Tots are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Garnish with chopped pickles, if desired, and serve with ketchup and mustard on the side.
