The Very Best Banana Pudding Ever

Ingredients:
For the Pudding:

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups heavy whipping cream
1 box (12 oz) vanilla wafer cookies
4-5 medium bananas, sliced
For the Topping:
Additional whipped cream for serving (optional)
Extra vanilla wafer cookies, crushed

Directions:
Make the Pudding: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until combined. Add the instant vanilla pudding mix and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes or until it thickens.
Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until no streaks remain.
Assemble the Pudding: In a trifle dish or large bowl, layer the vanilla wafer cookies, followed by a layer of sliced bananas, and then a layer of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of the pudding.
Chill: Cover the pudding with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serve: Before serving, top with additional whipped cream and sprinkle crushed vanilla wafer cookies on top, if desired. Enjoy!
