
Ingredients:
12 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti)
1 lb beef (sirloin or flank steak), thinly sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp water
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1️⃣ Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ In a bowl, mix the beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 1 tbsp water. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
3️⃣ Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
4️⃣ Add another tbsp of oil to the pan. Sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5️⃣ Toss in the broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.
6️⃣ Add the cooked beef back to the pan. Pour in the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
7️⃣ Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until fully coated in sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
8️⃣ Serve hot and enjoy!
