Spicy Baked Cajun Catfish and Shrimp with Zesty Lemon Butter

Ingredients:
4 catfish fillets
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra spice)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon slices (for garnish)

Directions:
I. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a large baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
II. In a small bowl, mix together the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
III. Pat the catfish fillets and shrimp dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil all over the fillets and shrimp, then coat them with the Cajun spice mixture, making sure they’re evenly seasoned.
IV. Arrange the catfish fillets in the prepared baking dish, with the shrimp nestled around them.
V. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter with lemon juice. Drizzle the lemon butter over the catfish and shrimp.
VI. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and the shrimp are cooked through.
VII. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve hot and enjoy!
