Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Cups

Ingredients:
3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup honey or light corn syrup
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper cupcake liners.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and honey (or corn syrup). Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the peanut butter mixture and stir until the cereal is fully coated.
Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin, pressing it down firmly with the back of a spoon to form an even layer in each cup.
Melt the milk chocolate chips (and peanut butter chips, if using) in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispies mixture in each cup, spreading it evenly.
Chill the cups in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
Serve cold and enjoy your delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Cups!
