Deep Fried Oreos

Ingredients:
1 cup pancake mix
2/3 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
18-20 Oreo cookies
Vegetable oil, for frying
Powdered sugar, for dusting

Directions:
Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. The batter should be slightly thick but still pourable.
Dip each Oreo cookie into the batter, making sure it’s fully coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.
Carefully drop the batter-coated Oreos into the hot oil, a few at a time, to avoid overcrowding. Fry for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until the Oreos are golden brown and crispy.
Remove the fried Oreos from the oil using a slotted spoon, and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Dust the warm Oreos with powdered sugar before serving.
