Deep Fried Candy Bars

Ingredients:
4 full-size candy bars (Snickers, Mars, Milky Way, or your favorite)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 large egg
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil, for frying
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Directions:
Chill the candy bars in the freezer for about 1-2 hours until they are firm. This helps them hold their shape during frying.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until you have a smooth, thick batter.
Heat about 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
Remove the candy bars from the freezer and dip them into the batter, making sure they are fully coated.
Carefully lower the battered candy bars into the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried candy bars from the oil, and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve immediately.
Enjoy the warm, gooey, and decadent deep-fried candy bars as a special treat!
