Ingredients:
1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced
1 small head of green cabbage, chopped
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp caraway seeds (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional for a tangy kick)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, along with smoked paprika, caraway seeds (if using), salt, and pepper. Stir well and cook for about 8-10 minutes, until the cabbage is tender but still slightly crisp.
Return the kielbasa to the skillet and stir everything together. If desired, add apple cider vinegar for extra flavor and cook for another 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
