
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
8 oz rotini or any pasta of choice
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup marinara or tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup beef broth or water
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Sauces and Seasonings: Stir in the diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
Mix in the Pasta: Add the cooked pasta into the skillet and stir until everything is well combined.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the top of the skillet mixture. Cover and let the cheese melt for 3-5 minutes.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
