Ingredients:
For the Steak:
1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Alfredo Pasta:
8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine or linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the steak: Season the steak generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your preference. Remove from the skillet and let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Make the Alfredo sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Slowly whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine: Toss the cooked pasta in the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated.
Assemble: Slice the steak and serve on top of the creamy Alfredo pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
