Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and fully cooked.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Return the broccoli to the skillet and toss everything together to coat with the sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
