Asian-Style Beef with Mushrooms and Sugar Snap Peas

Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 cups sugar snap peas
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining vegetable oil. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the mushrooms and sugar snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and toss everything together for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over rice or noodles.
