Ingredients
3 lbs beef back ribs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups BBQ sauce (your favorite)
Directions
Prep the ribs: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for more tender results. Rub the ribs with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Slow-cook the ribs: Place the ribs in a large baking dish or wrap them in foil and place on a baking sheet. Cover with foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
Add the BBQ sauce: Remove the ribs from the oven, discard any excess fat, and brush generously with BBQ sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
Caramelize the sauce: Place the ribs back in the oven uncovered and cook for another 15-20 minutes, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.
Serve: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
