Ingredients:
2 slices of thick-cut bread
1 cup cooked steak, sliced thinly
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic until well combined. Set aside.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Layer the sliced steak evenly on top, followed by the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Season with salt and pepper.
Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom slice is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Slice in half, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
