Classic Coleslaw Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups shredded green cabbage

1 cup shredded purple cabbage

1 cup shredded carrots

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix the veggies: In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, purple cabbage, and shredded carrots.

Make the dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Toss and chill: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.

Serve: Give it one final toss before serving. This coleslaw pairs perfectly with BBQ dishes or sandwiches.
