Cheesy Garlic Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

4 large potatoes, thinly sliced

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

Prepare the cream mixture: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.

Assemble the potatoes: In a greased baking dish, arrange half of the potato slices in an even layer. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with cheddar and Parmesan cheese. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.

Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy these cheesy, garlicky potatoes as a perfect side dish.
