Ingredients
1 loaf of French bread
2 cups cooked spaghetti
1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ground beef or Italian sausage, cooked
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions
Prepare the bread: Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). Cut the top off the French bread loaf lengthwise and hollow out the inside to create a bread boat, leaving about an inch of bread around the edges.
Make the filling: In a bowl, mix the cooked spaghetti, marinara sauce, and cooked ground beef or sausage. Stir until well combined.
Stuff the bread: Spoon the spaghetti mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf. Top with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter on the top edges of the bread.
Bake: Place the stuffed bread on a baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and slice the bread to serve. This fun twist on garlic bread and spaghetti is perfect for sharing.
