Ingredients:
6 slices of bread
6 large eggs
6 slices of ham
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons butter, melted
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare the Bread: Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread. Set the cut-out pieces aside.
Assemble the Bake: Place the slices of bread in the prepared baking dish. Brush the tops with melted butter. Place a slice of ham in each hole, then carefully crack an egg into each hole over the ham.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the bread slices, making sure to cover the eggs and bread evenly.
Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the eggs are set to your desired doneness and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot.
