Beef Tostadas (Crispy & Flavorful)

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
8 tostada shells
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup diced green onions
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup salsa
1 jalapeƱo, sliced (optional, for extra heat)
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:
I. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the beef is fully coated in the seasoning and the sauce has thickened.
II. While the beef is cooking, prepare your toppings and set them aside.
III. To assemble the tostadas, place the tostada shells on a plate. Top each shell with a spoonful of seasoned beef, spreading it out evenly.
IV. Layer on the shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and green onions. Add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa on top.
V. Garnish with sliced jalapeƱos and fresh cilantro if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
